January NewFO - update

I don't have a picture to share of how far I've made it yet.  But here is an earlier picture:

I've changed the layout a bit, instead of having the open spaces I only left room for sashing.  And have you seen my sashing?

I've now pieced the entire top except for the borders (pics to come soon I hope!!!).  I need to visit the quilt shop to find two fabrics, something for a stop border (the thinner border that frames the pieced top) and for the wider outside border.

The quilt is looking very little girly...hmmm...doesn't seem to fit with our home, I wonder what little girl this is destined for?
