You may have thought I abandoned my blog but truly, I didn't mean to be away so long.
Unfortunately my ol'lap top has pretty much given up the ghost and I have not yet figured out how to copy and paste on our little tiny blackberry playbook.
I know sometimes when I'm using it as a reader or if I'm reading an article, if I touch a word accidentally, I get a copy option...I just can't get it when I need it. So no pictures and how boring am I without pictures? Pretty boring.
But I am still quilting: my Counterpoint is finished and I need to find backing material so I can get it quilted; my scrappy quilt made of Parson's Gray fabric is nearly complete, I'm waiting for an order from Hancocks of Paducah to come in with my border and backing fabric; my Border Creek Station Mystery Quilt from 2 years ago is nearly complete, I have one border left to sew in place and then it's time for some quilting; I made a pumpkin pincushion.
And I'm still stitching: I've cross stitched 3 ornaments; working on my 4th ornament for an exchange; I've started in a Stitch-a-long over at Kustom Kraft's yahoo group, I am working on a pattern called Autumn Encounter - it's a wolf surrounded by beautiful fall leaves; and my stitching buddy Shelly got me a kit that I feel the need to start immediately called Bathing Beauties that I hope to finish up for my bathroom.
By the way, fall is amazing this year in the Yukon, only a light dusting of snow on the mountaintops and we still have warm weather. This is the best fall since we moved here over 10 years ago!!! As a newer Yukoner (not born and raised), I don't know what this means for winter. Guess I wait and see!
Take care, keep creative and cross your fingers I can figure out how to load pictures on this tiny thing (or hubby breaks down and buys me a new laptop!!!).
Happy day all!
